Sam Thacker
Sam Thacker has 18 years of banking and finance experience, most currently with a Houston Texas based bank while serving Central and South Texas. During his finance career he has become intimately aware of many facets of risk management including personal related matters, payroll and workers compensation matters.
Sam has been a featured business adviser since May 2008 on AllBusiness.com, a D&B Company where he writes a weekly column of interest to business owners. Sam has written over 500 business articles and columns since he began writing for AllBusiness.com.
Sam is also a bi-monthly blog contributor to the Austin Business Journal and is a regular contributor to the Texas Entrepreneurs Network newsletter and actively mentors start-up businesses for the Austin Entrepreneurs Network.
Sam enjoys writing, public speaking, and teaching business classes. He has guest lectured at the University of Texas IC2 program.
